Terms and Conditions
The Sunflower Trail is situated on PRIVATE PROPERTY and admission is granted under the following terms:
General Admission Terms
- Admission must be paid before entering the Sunflower Trail. Admission costs £6 for adults and children (under 5s are admitted for free). There are no concessions.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- No smoking or vaping.
- Only registered disability assistance dogs are allowed in the Sunflower Trail. Please leave pets at home.
- Please be careful when walking through the flowers – keep to the pathways and please don’t walk in between the rows. You will damage the flowers.
- Please help us look after the Sunflower Seed harvest. Cutting, picking, or digging up the plants is not allowed. Flowers will be available for sale at the designated area.
- To protect all our crops, ball games and sports activities/equipment are not allowed in any of our farm fields.
- Bicycles, scooters and large toys must be left in your car or in the bicycle park area (at your own risk).
- Please do not bring barbecues, stoves or picnic chairs and furniture.
- Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside – please don’t bring radios, music players and musical instruments.
- We’re sorry but we only want to see birds flying overhead. Drones and other remotely controlled aircraft are not allowed in the Sunflower Trail or over any of the surrounding fields of Maiden Castle Farm.
- People come to enjoy the flowers – please be considerate in your behaviour. We retain the right to refuse admission or remove from the field anyone not behaving appropriately.
- There is no access to any surrounding fields. Please do not climb fences or hedges. Please do not walk in our farm crops.
Access outside of our opening dates and times is strictly by prior arrangement and subject to availability
Term & Conditions of sale – Trail Admission Tickets
Buying admission to The Sunflower Trail means that you agree to our general terms of admission (detailed above). If you have problems with any of our clauses listed, please do not purchase admission or try to enter event.
The price of one Sunflower Trail admission is £6. This figure is non-negotiable. Children aged under 5 may enter for free and you do not need to purchase a ticket for them.
At the time of entering the event venue, you are required to produce your admission confirmation order number and give your name to the check-in staff. You are purchasing a TIMED entry slot and you must arrive within your timeslot. If you arrive significantly outside your pre-booked time, your entry to The Sunflower Trail will be at our discretion, based on visitor numbers.
You buy Sunflower Trail admission by your own free will. All sales are deemed as FINAL TRANSACTIONS. There will be no returns/exchanges/cancellations.
If The Sunflower Trail is cancelled in part, or in its entirety, due to any unforeseen circumstances, we have sole and absolute right to issue refunds on all affected admission.
If The Sunflower Trail is cancelled due to any factors or causes not in the control of the issuer, we will offer refunds on all affected admission. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, weather and natural disasters. If The Sunflower Trail has to be rescheduled to other dates, you will be issued a full refund. Please note that this decision in such cases will be deemed final and binding.
Kindly note that www.maidencastlefarm.co.uk is the sole authorised source for purchasing entry tickets to Sunflower Trail. If you obtain your admission from any other unauthorised source, you take on the risks of those tickets turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. We have the right to dishonour such stolen/counterfeit admission and declare them as void.
Sunflower Trail tickets may not be resold, copied, reproducing, or misrepresented in any form. You cannot use admission for any promotional/advertising purposes (including sweepstakes and competitions) without our prior approval.
Please note that we, J Hoskin & Sons of Maiden Castle Farm, reserve the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from our terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Please check our website www.maidencastlefarm.co.uk before you travel. These changes will relate back to the date of purchase of The Sunflower Trail tickets.
Commercial Activities – Additional Admission Terms (including professional photographers)
Any and all commercial activities do not fall under our general admission terms and will require further discussion. All enquiries are strictly by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Access outside of our opening dates and times is strictly by prior arrangement and subject to availability. Please get in touch.
